Mobile Alongsiding with Mutua Mahiaini

October 16, 2020

What does mobile alongsiding look like in a practical context? As we continue to explore the Four Contributions through Staff Refresh and others, stories of Navigators everywhere come to the surface. This is what we do.

Caring for people isn’t always convenient, but it is important.  Navigator Mutua Mahiaini travels to remote areas of Africa to serve and encourage other Navigator workers. One of Mutua’s friends said, “He did not give up on me, he loved me, counseled me . . . he made me feel like I was more important than his personal comfort.”  God had a huge impact on the whole family as Mutua acted as a mobile alongsider to encourage and strengthen them over the course of years and many towns they lived in.
